XOsoft Reports Record Growth for Q3/2005; Marking Eleven Quarters of Continued Success
12 October 2005XOsoft, a leading provider of continuous application availability software solutions, today announced that the Company exceeded Q3/2005 revenue targets for the eleventh consecutive quarter. This success is attributed to high sales of its Assured Recovery solution, which delivers a unique value to customers by guaranteeing disaster recovery readiness. Assured Recovery dramatically reduces the cost of testing application recoverability on a replicated system. Since the product launch, 60 percent of new XOsoft's customers have purchased the Assured Recovery software bundled with the award winning WANSyncHA. XOsoft's strong quarter-over-quarter achievements are further underscored by an average increase of 20 percent in new deal size. Most customers are purchasing Assured Recovery with either Disaster Recovery or High Availability solutions; indicating the increase in business requirements for disaster preparedness testing technology. Based on XOsoft's CDP (continuous data protection) technology, Assured Recovery allows end-users the ability to easily conduct a comprehensive yet transparent disaster recovery test of the recoverability of replicated data and applications. Available as a bundled product with XOsoft's WANSync and WANSyncHA for Exchange, Oracle and SQL, Assured Recovery can conduct fully automated scheduled or ad hoc tests without disrupting the production system, leaving it vulnerable for an extended period, or performing an expensive resynchronization. Assured Recovery was initially developed in response to customer needs, and since has been firmly adopted by many of XOsoft's current customers. Assured Recovery is offered as a bundled solution, as a complementary product offering to XOsoft's WANSync and WANSyncHA technologies, leading to further sales over the past six-months. "We found that sales of Assured Recovery were not specific to any vertical, size or geographic market, but were purchased by organizations that regard data availability as mission-critical, and the need to test that availability -- crucial," said Tom O'Connell, president, XOsoft. "We saw a significant revenue spike just prior to the 2005 hurricane season, which indicates that organizations are focusing more on disaster preparedness and realizing the need for an enterprise-wide solution that can quickly, painlessly and cost-effectively test how safe current information assets are." XOsoft is proud to announce a few of their recent sales of Assured Recovery, including Ruden McClosky, one of Florida's largest and most prominent law firms, who tested the recoverability of their data prior to Hurricane Katrina hitting; ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, a Florida-based retailer who implemented Assured Recovery with their high availability solution in July 2005; and Texans Credit Union, a greater Dallas-based credit union who protects both its SQL and Exchange servers with a high availability solution with Assured Recovery. O'Connell continued, "Launching Assured Recovery in 2005 was a success for XOsoft, as it allowed us to establish the Company as a leader in our space. Additionally, it gave us the opportunity to assist our customers with their governance and compliance needs; elevating business continuity and disaster recovery testing to a newer, more strategic level."
