The Author of "The Fixer" Filed a Criminal Complaint Against a Federal Judge in a Dispute Over Attorney Fees
28 March 2006 (PRWEB) March 27, 2006 -- The author of «The Fixer» has become a victim like so many detailed in his book. Moore says he initiated litigation on behalf of his clients that culminated in a settlement in their favor for $1.25 billions.(Case CV –96-4849, CV-98-5073 in EDNY), but was unsuccessful to translate this success into attorney fees. Once the case was settled he says, "Judge Korman decided to appoint his cronies to decide the allocation of the fund, and they decided to allocate it to anybody except to the eligible plaintiffs and attorneys." Some attorneys who contributed far less to the case than Mr. Moore, received millions of dollars just for being in the inner circle of the judge, but Moore's application for attorney fees was denied without any explanation. Moore claims that the only explanation for the denial of his attorney fees is abuse of power and corruption. He claims that every decision without explanation is arbitrary and capricious, especially when the application is meritorious. Based on his book there is no point to appeal any case to the US court of appeals of the second circuit and so he remained uncompensated and another victim of the corrupt US judiciary. See: www.TheFixer.info "This abuse of judicial power to devour a fund of a billion dollars, without compensation of the eligible parties is even unprecedented by standards of this corrupt judiciary," he says. The author filed a complaint against the judge to the FBI, US Attorney General, and NY attorney General to investigate the matter. "Welcome to Sodom and Gomorrah," he says.
