Second Staff Member of Licensed TX DPS Vendor to Achieve Certification

26 April 2006

Litigation Solution, Inc., a regional leader in litigation support services including computer forensics, electronic discovery, document imaging, and trial support services for law firms and corporate legal departments, today announced that Aaron Read has achieved certification as a "Certified Computer Examiner" (CCE) by the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners. Mr. Read is the second staff member of Litigation Solution to become CCE certified. With only four hundred and forty (440) Certified Computer Examiners worldwide there are less CCE's than fighter jet pilots.

Mr. Read is also completing his Private Investigator's License and has a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He has experience in the Federal and Texas court systems and has interned with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General, as a Computer Forensics Intern. In addition, Mr. Read has assisted in the securing and processing of data under Federal Search Warrants.

Litigation Solution, Inc. performs Forensic and Electronic Data Discovery services and is licensed as a Private Investigations Company by the Texas Department of Public Safety to "secure evidence for use before a court." To provide these services under Texas law, Litigation Solution's staff must maintain Private Investigator Licenses and have further invested in certifications as Certified Computer Examiners. Vendors collecting electronic evidence, processing, recovering or moving electronic evidence without licensing are in violation of Texas Law, punishable as a Class A misdemeanor for a first offense and a felony for subsequent offenses, and risk the courts deeming all evidence to be rejected. Law firms, corporations and organizations hiring licensed vendors are also subject to the law and penalties.

"To appropriately collect electronic evidence, normal criminal evidentiary procedures must be followed and expanded to insure all samples are Forensically Cloned and secured by a licensed vendor and certified personnel," said Terry Vaughan, CEO of Litigation Solution, Inc. "We are one of the few vendors investing in the licensing and certification of our staff well in advance of the industry and courts at large."
