Local Family Law Attorney and Author Jonathan Fogel Joins FM 107/107.1 Sunday Lineup

6 April 2006

Minneapolis family law attorney Jonathan Fogel joins the FM 107 lineup on April 23 with his new show "Family Affairs," to air Sundays from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Fogel's show will feature a team approach to helping families deal with everything from new changes in Minnesota's child support laws to handling the intricacies of divorce.

Fogel, author of "Preparing for Divorce While Happily Married," has extensive experience handling complex marital estates, spousal maintenance, custody disputes, post decree matters, paternity and domestic abuse cases. Fogel is a frequent speaker for continuing legal education and is currently leading a series of courses to educate attorneys about Minnesota's new child support law. He also serves on the Hennepin County Bar Association's Family Law Section and is past president.

"It's an unfortunate fact that more than half of all marriages today end in divorce," said Fogel. "People have a lot of questions about the process and often don't know where to go for the information. I'm really looking forward to sharing my expertise and team approach with the listening public at FM 107."

His firm, Fogel Law Offices, P.A., offers a network of professionals that can provide assistance on topics ranging from financial issues to counseling for spouses and children. "Family Affairs" will regularly feature several of those experts who will share their knowledge and take calls from FM 107 listeners.

Fogel, who lives with his wife and three children in St. Louis Park, earned his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul and his undergraduate degree in psychology, political science and education from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
