Law Society Tribunal Decisions

The Law Society regulates the legal profession in the public interest.


As part of this mandate, the Law Society's Hearing and Appeal Panels recently heard the following cases. Hearing and Appeal Panels are composed of Law Society benchers - lawyers and lay people who are responsible for determining the appropriate disposition of cases.


Charles William Fleming, age 60 of the City of London


Decision: Member suspended


Zygmunt John Fenik, age 58 of the Town of Bradford


Decision: Member suspended


Vishnu Eseapersaud Misir, age 52 of the City of Toronto


Decision: Member disbarred


Gordon Ernest Watkin, age 62 of the Town of Richmond Hill


Decision: Member suspended
