IRS Awards Collection Contract to Law Firm, Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP
21 March 2006 Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP has been awarded a contract to collect delinquent income taxes on behalf of the Internal Revenue Service. Competing with 32 of the nation's top collection agencies, Linebarger Goggan was one of only three private firms to receive a contract in this first phase of this new IRS initiative.
Headquartered in Texas, and with several dozen offices from coast-to- coast, Linebarger Goggan is one of the largest private collectors of delinquent government receivables in the United States. Established in 1976, the firm collects hundreds of millions of dollars per year for its clients.
