GEICO and Google Settle Lawsuit

The case filed by GEICO against Google on May 4, 2004 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia has been resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the parties. The terms of the settlement are confidential. No further comment on the settlement will be provided.

GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) is the fourth-largest private passenger auto insurer in the United States. It provides auto insurance coverage for more than 6 million policyholders and insures more than 10 million vehicles. GEICO is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway group of companies.
