Cohen & Grigsby Adds ERISA and Employee Benefits Practice
22 November 2005Cohen & Grigsby, P.C. announces the addition of attorney Bruce G. Gabler and his staff, formerly of Gabler & Associates in Upper St. Clair, to the firm's Pittsburgh office. Mr. Gabler joins Cohen & Grigsby as a director in and chair of the ERISA and Employee Benefits Group. The group will continue to serve the Upper St. Clair community as well. Gabler has over 30 years of experience representing employers, administrators, plan fiduciaries, investment advisors and other service providers regarding various employee benefit issues and in matters arising under the Employment Retirement Income Security Act. He concentrates his practice in the areas of ERISA and employee benefits, estate and tax planning and ERISA litigation. Mr. Gabler earned his B.S. from the University of Virginia in 1968 and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1971. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh. Mr. Gabler serves in several community capacities, including Chairperson of the Planned Giving Council, University of Virginia; a member of the Cornerstone Society Board, McIntire School of Commerce; Past President and Member of the Pittsburgh Chapter, Children's International Summer Villages, Inc.; a former Member and Past President of the Board of Directors, Upper St. Clair School District; and Board Member of the Upper St. Clair Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Mr. Gabler was a principal with the law firm Gabler & Associates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He resides in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania. Anita Domalik Hogue joins as an associate and focuses her practice in the areas of ERISA and employee benefits, tax and estate planning, and estate administration. Anita earned her J.D. from the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 1994, her M.P.I.A. (Alumni Association Student Leadership Award) from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs in 1988 and her B.S. in Economics (Dean's List) from Saint Vincent College in 1986. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Ms. Domalik Hogue was an associate with the law firm Gabler & Associates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
