8211; Brie Sherwin, an attorney with the law firm of Baron & Budd, P.C., will deliver a presentation on environmental issues in Texas at the State of Leadership Conference held today at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
The State of Leadership Conference is designed to provide students from Texas Christian University and other colleges and universities with a better understanding of some of the complex issues facing Texas communities in the coming years. The conference is part of a long-standing goal at the university to help college students network with campus leaders and activists from other colleges and universities around the state.
Ms. Sherwin lends her legal and scientific background to Baron & Budd in the litigation of benzene-related toxic exposure claims and the evaluation and research of toxic tort cases new to the firm. In addition to her law degree, she holds a master’s degree in environmental toxicology.
